> Lactation Room for Court Employees
Overview from Article – Assembly Bill 1578 – Beginning July 1, 2024, will require the Superior Court to provide any court user access to a Lactation Room in any courthouse in which a lactation room is also provided to court employees, as specified. The bill would require the lactation room for court users to be located within the court facility in an area that is accessible to the public or in any location that is reasonably accessible to the public using the court facility. The bill, except as provided, would require the lactation room for court users to meet all of the requirements imposed upon an employer with respect to providing a lactation room for employees.

A new California Law has gone into effective which provides for (1) most State felony convictions will be automatically sealed from ones criminal record after 4 years after the case ends, and (2) all State felony arrest records which did not lead to charges get automatically sealed after 3 years.
