– Girardville Police Department Operations Suspended
May 8, 2024 – The Girardville, Pennsylvania Town Council suspended police operation through the remainder of 2024. Cost and Performance were the reasons given for the suspension. The State Police will now take calls for police service in the Town of 1,500 people.
